Nettleton - Market Rasen 7.75 miles

An interesting walk at the foot of the Wolds, mainly on tracks, paths and quiet lanes. Go through woodland and the attractive village of Claxby before reaching Nettleton.

This walk is part of the Lindsey Loop, a 95 mile route joining the market towns of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Get off the bus in the Market Place in Market Rasen to walk north, or reverse the route and begin at the Salutation Inn, Nettleton. The walk is mainly on level terrain, passing through the pretty village of Claxby, with the northerly section of the route following the foot of the chalk scarp to Nettleton.
